OUR VISION
BPF exists as a movement where Black voices are heard in full truth, invested in, and empowered through poetry as a force for resistance, connection, and collective power.
OUR MISSION
BPF bridges the gap between Black poets across the Midwest by amplifying their voices, honoring their artistry, and creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, visibility, and cultural impact.
